Biography

Carlo is General Manager BeNeLux and Nordics at IMS Health. He has over 17 years of extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and consulting industry in Europe. Prior to joining IMS in 1999, Carlo spent a number of years in pharmaceutical consulting gaining extensive experience in pricing & reimbursement and the application of health economics in regulatory submissions. Since then, he has worked in a number of roles including head of the IMS forecasting team. In this capacity, he led in-depth strategic research addressing economic and political trends, pricing, reimbursement and regulatory issues, and the business environment in major pharmaceutical markets. He has also worked as Principal Thought Leadership with a focus on developing customer engagements showcasing new insights on current issues in the industry and completing extensive research on the impact of increasing cost containment measures in Europe, evaluating the effect of macro-economic factors on local healthcare infrastructures and business environments, leading to strategic recommendations for industry leaders. He has also worked as Principal Commercial Effectiveness Services covering Belgium, Netherlands, Nordics and Baltic countries with strong expertise covering the design, management and implementation of various commercial effectiveness solutions.

Carlo holds a degree in Biology from the Università Statale of Milan (Italy) and a master in journalism from the Università of Ferrara (Italy).
